FMPD Seeks Identities of Robert E. Lee Statue Vandals

The Fort Myers Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two male subjects who were involved with damaging the bust of General Robert E. Lee in Downtown Fort Myers.

The statue was toppled from its podium at the intersection of First Street and Bay Street on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.
